No One  Comes  to the Father  But Through Me

God’s word  is very much  to the point  —  and does not mislead anyone.  Therefore,  Jesus says  in John 14:6,

I am the way,  and the truth,  and the life;  no one comes  to the Father  but through Me.

Absolutely no one gets  into heaven  unless they totally believe  that Jesus alone  is  “the way”“the truth,  and the life”.     In other words,  there is absolutely no other way  to heaven,  except through faith  in Jesus Christ alone.     We cannot take anything away  from that  —  or add anything to it  —  “no one comes  to the Father  but through Me.”

There are many New Age people  who claim  we must add  to Christ’s claim  to be  the one and only Savior.     These New Age people come  from every religion  in the world.     They claim  that all  religions lead  to heaven  and there is no right one way.

Their claim  is actually  calling Jesus  a liar.     The Holy Spirit  led  the many writers  of the Bible  to show  that only Jesus  is the Savior,  through many fulfilled prophecies,  —  there is no other way  to heaven.     When mere sinful people  claim  that some  of the Bible  is not true,  they are calling  the Holy Spirit  a liar.     And,  Jesus says  about them  in Mark 3:29,

Whoever blasphemes  against the Holy Spirit  never has forgiveness,  but is guilty  of an eternal sin.

And,  2 John 1:9  adds,

Anyone  who goes too far  and does not abide  in the teaching  of Christ,  does not have God;  the one who abides  in the teaching,  he has both  the Father  and the Son.

So,  if we want  to get  to heaven,  we must realize  the facts  in  2 Timothy 3:16,

All Scripture  is inspired  by God  and profitable  for teaching,  for reproof,  for correction,  for training  in righteousness.

We must stick only  to all  that the Bible says  about the way  to heaven.     We cannot escape judgment  if we add  or subtract  from God’s word.

Assured  that there is nothing  we need  to know  beyond what God teaches us  in the Bible,  we say,  “Hallelujah!     LORD,  thank You  for fully showing us  the way  to heaven.”

Love,
Margaret
