The Fool  Has Said  in His Heart

I saw a bumper  that said,  “If you’re living like  there is  no God,  you’d better be right!”

That reminded me  of  King David’s  Psalm 14:1,  which says,

The fool  has said  in his heart,  “There is  no God.”
They are corrupt,  they have committed  abominable deeds;
There is no one  who does good.

Those who deny God’s existence,  are disregarding  all the evidence  of God’s most intelligently created creation.     Not one of those fools  can create  even one blade  of grass  —  let alone  a whole universe  filled with life  and wonders  of every sort.     They are also foolishly dismissing  all of the fulfilled  Old Testament prophecies  regarding  the coming  of our Savior, Christ Jesus.

The bottom line is  that when we go through trials  and someone mocks  our faith  in God,  we can look at God’s word,  His creation,  His fulfilled prophecies,  and all His faithful being  —  and know  that we are not being  “the fool”.

So glad  for God’s assurance  and love,  we say,  “Hallelujah!     LORD,  thank You  for the overwhelmingly wondrous proofs  of Your love,  power,  and authority.”

Love,
Margaret
