Even From Eternity I Am He

Even From Eternity I Am He

We live  —  and we die  —  and our conscience tells us  that we are accountable  to God  in the end.     But,  different cultures have different gods  —  so  to which God  are we accountable?          Out of all the gods  of all the cultures,  there is only one God  who has shown  through history  and the fulfillment  of many prophecies  over thousands  of years,  that He alone  is the true God.

That one God  who has proven His power  and authority  is the LORD  —  the God revealed  in the Bible.     But,  many people reject  God’s testimony  in the Bible.     They much prefer the colorful myths  of the gods  in their culture  —  and the customs  of their heathen culture.

When the LORD spoke  to the Israelites  in Isaiah 43:10-13,  He said,

“You are My witnesses,”  declares the LORD,
“And My servant  whom I have chosen,
So that you may know  and believe Me
And understand  that I am He.

Before Me  there was no God  formed,
And there will be none  after Me.
I,  even I,  am the LORD,
And there is no savior  besides Me.

It is I  who have declared  and saved  and proclaimed,
And there was no strange god  among you;
So you are My witnesses,”  declares the LORD,
“And I am God.

Even from eternity  I am He,
And there is none  who can deliver  out of My hand;

I act  and who can reverse it?”

Throughout history  and many fulfilled prophecies  regarding our Savior,  Christ Jesus,  we are given  a firm foundation  for the truths  of God’s power,  authority,  love,  faithfulness,  and truth.

As God led the Israelites,  He leads us  through this life  of trials  and  challenges.     Knowing  there is no other God,  we trust His leading  and eternal salvation  through faith  in Christ alone.

That leads us  to say,  “Hallelujah!     LORD,  thank You  for Your eternal word  in leading us  through this life.”

A Christian devotional  to glorify  the LORD of lords  and GOD of gods.

Pray for our country.

So the LORD  has compassion  on those who fear Him.

For His lovingkindness  is everlasting.

Psalm 107:1

Not that I have already obtained it,  or have already  become perfect,   but I press on  in order that  I may  lay hold  of that  for which also  I was laid hold of  by Christ Jesus.
