Proving God’s Creative Powers

Proving God’s Creative Powers

We live  in a world  of exploding information.     With the Internet,  TV,  radio,  etc.,  everywhere you turn,  ideas are being promoted,  information being shared  with impressive videos  that are digitally created.     Our educational system encourages  the exploration  of all these ideas,  and supposedly,  teaches students  to weigh  and balance  the validity  of all information correctly.

Supposedly,  our technical culture is becoming  very savvy  in detecting the difference  between what is truth  and what is “not”.     But,  a second thought realizes  how many people  still fall  for email spam  and financial exploitations  in get-rich quick schemes.     Many are unable  to detect  the hidden motives  of fraud artists.     Fraud artists know  that people are not as savvy  as they think  they are.

Checking out all avenues  of the media  and our educational system  also reveals another  “hidden motive”  of atheists.     Everywhere we turn,  we are bombarded  with the “truth” of the big bang theory  and the evolutionary developments  they present  as they claim  there is no God.     We need to note  that there are many evolutionary and creation theories  that do not agree  as each scientist vies  to gain status  in his field  of science.

Christians who believe  that God created all things  by His word  need to figure out  if they are merely  being “backward” in their thinking  or if they have allowed themselves  to be “programmed”  into a foolish myth.

Science is supposed to study  the world around us.     Real science  does not exclude the possibility  of God creating all things.     The scientist studies things  he cannot see  —  like electricity,  the transmission of voice  and information  via satellites,  the forces  that hold the universe together,  etc.

Although many things  cannot be seen,  yet we know  they exist  because of the evidence  they create around us.     A scientist  should not deny the existence  of something  he cannot see.

As a scientist explores  what he cannot see,  he is looking  at God’s creation.     It’s very powerful  and far beyond  our ability  to totally comprehend.     That’s what keeps scientists interested  in trying  to find out more.

But,  in their interest,  they need to look  at the evidence  they deny  and refuse  to look at.

The Bible  allows a scientist to see.     Scientists and archeologists agree  that the Bible has been around  for thousands  of years.     They often work hard  to disprove it.     But,  they keep missing  the major point.     That’s something  a true scientist  should never do.

The whole Old Testament is filled  with prophecies  about the Savior  and they all came true  in Jesus Christ.     Now how is all that possible  if there is no God?

Who  or what  orchestrated all that?     There are too many details  that came true  in Christ.

There isn’t one scientist  who can recreate  similar historical events  over thousands of years  of time.     Only God  can do what He has done.     It’s time we give Him  the full glory  that is His due  —  since we,  too,  are nothing but  His critters,  a tiny speck  in all  of creation.

John 1:1-5…….

In the beginning  was the Word,  and the Word was  with God,  and the Word  was God.     He was  in the beginning  with God.

All things  came into being  through Him;  and apart from Him  nothing came  into being  that has come  into being.

In Him  was life;  and the life  was the light  of men.      And the light shines  in the darkness;  and the darkness  did not comprehend it.

Everyone who comes  to a realization  of God’s total  and absolutely almighty power  in all  of creation  will exclaim,  “Hallelujah!     The LORD  is my Maker.”

A Christian devotional  to glorify  the LORD of lords  and GOD of gods.
