Day to Day Pours Forth Speech

The morning was gorgeous!     The reflecting, pink sky was adorned  with wispy,  purple clouds  that added to its beauty.     The soft pink sunrise,  with blue skies above,  spoke of the glorious power  of our Lord  to give us yet another day.     Another day  to enjoy the grace of God  and His everlasting patience  and faithfulness with us.

The glory of it all  brought to mind Psalm 19:1-4,

The heavens are telling  of the glory  of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work  of His hands,
Day to day  pours forth speech,
And night to night  reveals knowledge.
There is no speech,  nor are there words;
Their voice is not heard.
Their line has gone out  through all the earth,
And their utterances  to the end  of the world.

Every day  of our lives  we get a new day.     The sunrise gloriously speaks  of the Almighty Lord,  who is watching over us.     And yet,  as the sun rises,  we don’t hear any “words”.     It is all so silent  and powerful.     God speaks  with the silence  of all His glorious dominion.     There isn’t a single thing we can do  to bring about the morning,  but,  we can depend  on our God  to faithfully bring it about  for our benefit.

So much knowledge is revealed  in all of God’s heavens.     We can see God’s wisdom  in the stars,  the countless universes,  galaxies,  solar systems.     As all the heavens declare God’s might  and wisdom  and power — how is it  that measly mankind forgets  to trust  in the Almighty Lord?

He is our Creator  and Redeemer.     God not only made us,  but He loved us so greatly  that He willingly died  on the cross  to pay  for our sins.     That is a powerful love.     Treasure it  with your whole life.

As we reverently look  to our Lord,  the Maker of heaven and earth,  we say,  “Hallelujah!     Lord,  You do all things well.     Create in me a clean heart  and a right spirit  that my whole life  will speak  of Your power  and redeeming love.”

Love,
Margaret
