His Greatness Is Unsearchable
There is no way we can know all the wondrous things God has done. In every aspect of all of creation there are miracles far beyond our ability to imagine. In the life of each and every person, God provides for individual needs, heals sicknesses, gives encouragements, leads in creativeness and solutions to problems — there simply is no end to all that God does for each of us.
Whether we consider all that goes on in outer space or the intricacies of one tiny atom of something here on earth, all around there are miracles far beyond anyone’s comprehension. It just means that God is great — great in transcending everything we’ve ever experienced, or can hope to experience in a life time.
Mixed in with all that greatness are all the intricacies that took place over thousands of years in perfectly bringing about the coming of our Savior. All sorts of detailed promises were kept by the coming of Jesus Christ, His gospel message, His suffering, death, and resurrection.
There simply can be no doubt that God is great. King David praises God’s greatness in Psalm 145:3-7,
Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable.
One generation shall praise Thy works to another,
And shall declare Thy mighty acts.
On the glorious splendor of Thy majesty,
And on Thy wonderful works, I will meditate.
And men shall speak of the power of Thy awesome acts;
And I will tell of Thy greatness.
They shall eagerly utter the memory of Thine abundant goodness,
And shall shout joyfully of Thy righteousness.
We should all meditate on the awesome works of our LORD and Savior. Then we say, “Hallelujah! My Lord, great is Your majesty, splendor, and love towards me. Thank You for thinking of even me in all of Your creation.”
Love,
Margaret
