Your Word Is Settled in Heaven

This is such a fast changing world.     There are changes in technology, scientific discoveries,  motor vehicles, you name it.     There are even some  who try to change God’s word.     That’s sick and sad,  but their efforts will only meet  with their own eternal demise.     The actual word of God is eternal,  so,  as much as sinful mankind tries to change it,  it never is actually changed.

Therefore,  it is with great joy and confidence  we can all say  with Psalm 119:89,

Forever, O LORD,

Your word is settled  in heaven.

Anyone who twists God’s word  to lead people away  from God’s truths  will suffer greatly in the end.     That is why it is so very important  for everyone  to diligently study God’s word for themselves.     We don’t want to be bamboozled  into falsely trying  to work our way to heaven  or  to drag in heathen traditions  that will destroy a true, godly faith.

God has promised  to keep His word for us  down through the ages.     And, He has done so from the beginning of time.     So, with grateful hearts,  we say,  “Hallelujah!     LORD,  thank You for caring for us through the eternal, almighty power  of Your word.”

Love,
Margaret
