Considering the Word
Over the last few years, I’ve written a number of articles that have been posted on another web site that does not maintain an archive. They are now posted here (in the right hand column of this blog) as an archive for me and also for you to read and comment on, if you wish.
I hope you find these devotionals interesting and thought provoking. There is so much to think about regarding God’s word. The more we consider what God tells us in His word, the more we find special treasures in that word, to help us grow in faith, hope, and love.
It is an awesome experience to keep digging through God’s word. We can be confident that God will share His many treasures with us as we keep seeking to know Him better.
Love, Margaret
love your posts
Thank you, Betty. I love our gracious Lord, who humbled Himself in Christ Jesus, to fully pay for our every sin. Although I have many life factors that strictly limit my time, I strive to take the time each day to write and let the world know about God’s grace in Christ. It’s the least anyone can do.

Jesus has a name so does god Jehovah the jah at the end of hallelujah
Hi John,
Back on May 29, 2010 I wrote “The Meaning of Hallelujah“. You can read it at: https://123hallelujah.wordpress.com/2010/05/29/the-meaning-of-hallelujah/
Because Jesus is God, His name is Jah along with many other names like: Savior, Redeemer, brother, husband, bridegroom, priest, king, Prince of Peace, I am who I am — and many others. They all show His almighty power and love for us.

Sunday, as we sang “Hallelujah”, I started thinking, “do I even know what that means? I know it’s good and a word of praise, but what am I saying?” I found your post about the word and it’s meaning. It means so much more than I understood. Thank you. Can I share that post on FB? I think lots of people would love to read it and become more aware of what a beautiful way it is to praise our GOD.
Hi Carol,
I’m glad you got something out of the post explaining the meaning of the word “Hallelujah”… You certainly may share this post where ever you want… And, yes, it is a beautiful way to praise our LORD and GOD… Checking into things like this make Bible study fascinating and increasingly appreciated… May we never stop learning more about our Creator and Redeemer.
Have a most blessed day and thank you for stopping by.

God bless you Margaret! You don’t know how many times God has spoken to me and lifted up my spirit through your work! I know for certain your reward in heaven will be great! May God continue to use you and give you more wisdom and understanding through the Holy Spirit.
Hi Joseph,
Thank you for stopping by… I pray that your sincere study of God’s word will produce good fruits that will, in all truth, honor the LORD God Almighty… In all things we need to always remember that Jesus alone is the Living Root and Vine that gives us life… All of God’s word points to our salvation in Jesus alone… If we don’t remain in Him alone and bear fruit that glorifies Him alone, we are like a dead branch that is pruned off and burned…
As God’s word often says, in the last days there will be many deceivers of all sorts… And, every good student of God’s word will see that, as we see how many these days distort – add to – and subtract from – God’s word… So, with all our heart and constantly abiding in God’s word, we must all be very careful that we present God’s truths in their wholeness…
Have a most blessed time in God’s word.
Margaret
